1000 Mile Socks

The traditional 1000 Mile sock is a sock within a sock. The inner layer stays with the foot, the outer layer moves with the shoe thus eliminating friction on the skin and reducing wear.  The unique mixture of fibres helps to keep the foot cool, dry and blister free.   These socks which blends Tactel^®, nylon and wool for walking and trekking are available in 4 variations - heavyweight, lightweight, all terrain and liner socks.

The NEW 2, 3 and 4 season Performance walking socks feature the unique properties of new Wool Ultra: 20% lighter than conventional wool. Its superior wicking qualities resulting in 30% faster drying also make it softer and less scratchy, and is more effecftive in combating odours.  Loop stitched pile gives great cushioning and comfort where you need it most.
