Lowe Alpine was born in 1967 in the Colorado work shed of climber Greg Lowe. Though they've since expanded to become an international company, they retain Greg's vision and enthusiasm. Among their staff you'll find rock climbers and alpinists, mountain bikers and skiers, trail runners and canoeists.

Lowe Alpine choose to innovate rather than follow the crowd. "In our book, function comes first and if that means creating an entirely new concept then so be it. What other outdoor company can claim world-beating innovations such as Ceramic waterproof/breathable fabric, Aleutian insulation, Dryflo underwear, APS back systems- the list goes on."
