Paramo Alta II Jacket

The Paramo Alta II Jacket was recently voted "BEST BUY" in a "Heavy Duty Waterproofs Gear Review" in TGO (The Great Outdoors) Magazine.

"Paramo is comfortable, more breathable than anything else and pleasant to wear on and off the hill - even next to the skin. The warm lining means you can discard an inner clothing layer. This is my first experience of Paramo's thinner, lighter liner but I haven't worn it in warm weather yet so can't say how cooler it is than the original.

Thanks to the stud-fastened flap inside the front zip you can open the zip while leaving the flap fastened for ventilation. The zip is reversed (exposed teeth inside) to protect it from abrasion.

The upper arm vents are easy to use and semi-elasticated cuffs allow good airflow. The hood moves well and maps fit the chest pocket though the handwarmer pockets are useless under a hipbelt. This is the only garment reviewed that can be reproofed."
