Close fitting but also very flexible material so quite comfortable to wear. Neat fit, not at all bulky. Haven’t yet tested them out in the rain yet but I expect them to be useful in all but the most extreme weather. Very reasonable price and good quality.

I bought XL and found the cuff a little tight. However, v comfortable once on. Then came the rain and hail atop pen y cloddiau, Clwydian Hills. Problem I find with most gloves is once my hands are damp the liner rucks and I can’t get my fingers in. I had a little struggle with these but successes. And it rained. The gloves kept my hand’s pleasantly warm. At the end of our 5 mile ramble the gloves appeared to have soaked up water but none had got thru so totally waterproof. Remember to put the gloves on before your hands get wet. Yes I recommend and pleased I bought. Ideal in present Autumn may look for a warmer pair come Winter.

I also want to thank you for my walking boots. Having tried every make of walking boots in London over the space of a year I couldn’t find any boots that didn’t rub my heel. A friend offered to take me to WW and D confident that they could help and so I went up specially. Sure enough the boots rubbed but painstakingly over the next hour the owner patiently kept taking them away to be stretched / steamed/ and whatever else till et last i had a wonderfully comfortable pair of Meindl walking boots – as light as a feather and fitting perfectly. I hadn’t thought it possible – so Thankyou for your patience and belief that you could help me find the the right boots. I am very very grateful

Tight fit so 8 inch is definitely size M. As is common with other gloves the waterproof layer is on the inside, so in persistant rain the material of the glove soaks up water
