The Fremington Lady Lite is a classic British design 2-3 season walking boot.
The ankle cuff is nubuck dual density cushioning – softer on the inside for comfort, and firmer on the outside for support.

Leather: Nappone 1.6-1.8mm, soft, supple full grain, water repellent – first grade European hides
Lining: Sympatex®, waterproof, breathable membrane lining

Sole: Vibram® Werewolf PU/rubber – mixed terrain sole, shock absorbing PU layer between rubber outsole and foot

I recently purchased my fourth pair of Altberg Fremington Lady Lites and I can honestly say these are the best boots I’ve ever had. I have very narrow feet and have always had difficulty with the volume of boots, having to use additional insoles together with one pair of liner socks and TWO pairs of thick woollen walking socks. With the Altberg extra narrow boot, teamed with a SIDAS Impact Reducer insole, I now use a liner sock plus one pair of walking socks. This has proved a great combination with immediate comfort from the start. I do a lot of walking and, despite the name, these boots are equally at home on the rough ground of Scottish Munros as in the gentler Yorkshire Dales. Unless Altberg changes the last on which these boots are made I won’t be looking elsewhere for replacements.

I really love these boots and am on my third pair. Unfortunately, even after taking great care of the leather uppers, they have cracked across the front a little sooner than I would have liked. I do however wear them on a daily basis and as I have narrow feet the variety of width fittings mean they are an excellent fit.
Would just like to mention the fabulous service from Whalley Warm and Dry; I was surprised with a personal delivery!

Purchased these for my wife, she’s now done about 200 to 250 miles in them and so far is very pleased, this is following taking a similar Scarpa leather boot that were taken back 3 times and each new pair leaked within a 100 miles of walking, so such issues with Altberg boots, great service from Whalley
